Yahoo Finance hires Amanda Fung for a new role as editor, in which Fung will edit stories, work on premium and partner content with the audience development team and help with management of the homepage.
Yahoo Finance editor in chief Andy Serwer called Fung a “highly skilled editor who really knows the subject matter,” in the announcement. Fung joins from Crain’s New York Business, where she had been web editor, a role that included responsibility for Crain’s newsletters, iPad app and social media efforts in addition to the site itself.
