Almost All Tablets Sold in Q3 2010 Were iPads
ABI Research is selling a new report on tablets and other gadget sales for the third quarter of 2010. According to the report, 4.5 million tablets were during that quarter, and 93% of all tablets sold were iPads.
While that number looks impressive, it brings up the question: what is a tablet? Pandigital has been making a tablet style e-reader for some time now, and according to a report released last month Pandigital sold 440k e-readers in that quarter.
