Alltel Finds its Rhythm

Alltel is stepping up its mobile music game today with the LG Rhythm, a new feature phone that’s now available for pre-order from the Alltel Web site. Its specs are rather pedestrian, with just 80MB of internal storage, a 1.3 megapixel camera, and a 2-inch LCD display.

But it’s well equipped on the music front otherwise, with an FM transmitter for playing your tunes in the car and a standard-size 3.5mm headphone jack for plugging in upgraded stereo ear buds or headphones. It also features a microSD card slot that accepts cards up to 8GB in size, a separate 1.3-inch external LCD display, and a Bluetooth radio for hands-free calls. Alltel wants $119.99 for a pre-order, and they’ll throw in an unnamed Bluetooth headset and a car charger if you sign up now.
