Allison Silverman Promoted to Executive Producer of Colbert Report
Allison Silverman, who has been with FishbowlNY nemesis-frenemy The Colbert Report since its inception, was promoted to executive Producer. From Comedy Central:
”’Allison is a rare combination of funny, kind, and intelligent. Unfortunately, in her new job two of those have got to go,’ said Colbert.”
Tomorrow Tony Bennett, who defeated The Colbert Report for an Emmy in the Outstanding Individual Performance In A Variety Or Music Program category, will appear on the show. Expect hijinx.
