Alleged WikiLeaker Charged With Violating Military Data Regulations

More than a month after his arrest in May, specialist Bradley Manning, who has allegedly leaked a video of a U.S. helicopter strike in Iraq and other classified materials to controversial document publisher Wikileaks, has been charged.

The Register reports that Manning was on July 5 charged with two offenses against the Uniform Code of Military Justice. The first charge, under UCMJ Article 92, is that Manning put classified data on his personal computer and put unauthorized software onto a classified computer system.
