All of Your Memories on Facebook Can Now Be Found in One Place

The new section features On This Day content and other moments with family, friends

Facebook Tuesday introduced Memories, a new section where people can access moments shared with family and friends.

Memories is accessible via the bookmarks to the left of News Feed on desktop, via the More tab in the bottom-right corner of Facebook’s flagship mobile applications, and also via notifications and messages users may see in their News Feeds, or simply clicking here.

Content from Facebook’s On This Day feature will be included in the Memories section. Product manager Oren Hod said more than 90 million people are using On This Day every day.

Facebook official rolled out On This Day in March 2015, after extensive testing, and the social network had to make adjustments to the feature later that year to help users avoid seeing things they didn’t want to see, introducing two filters to block out specific users, dates or date ranges.
