Alaska Reporter Who Quit on Air Now Has a Crowdfunding Campaign

A reporter whose quitting-on-air video went viral launched a crowdfunding campaign soon after her infamous resignation.

Former reporter for KTVA Charlo Greene quit her job in a dramatic fashion — announcing “fuck it, I quit,” on air. Greene was reporting on the Alaska Cannabis Club when she revealed that she was, in fact, the owner of the club.

Now, the reporter-turned-advocate has started a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo for her marijuana reform advocacy. Was her sensational resignation merely a bid to drum up attention for her cause?

Probably.

In her Indiegogo video embedded above, Greene says, “There comes a time in each and every one of our lives when we must choose to continue to spectate or stand up for what’s right.”
