Alaska May Ditch Anti-Endangered Species PR Campaign

The campaign would have involved a “study” and a conference showing how the Endangered Species Act has delivered “economic damage” to the state.

Now, it appears the campaign may never see the light of day. According to the Anchorage Daily News:

…enthusiasm for the effort fizzled over the last several weeks, legislators said, with some saying it could create a black eye for Alaska if it came across as though politicians were directing the science.
