Despite Air America’s deep financial troubles, Janeane Garofalo ain’t buying that it can’t work:
Metro: Air America is struggling. Why do you think that is?
Garafolo: Oh, it is true, but it has nothing to do with the message or the audience. Air America was the fastest growing talk radio station in history, 18-35 demo. Sam [Seder] and my show consistently beat out long-standing, right-wing, regressive radio. The problem was we got conned in the beginning by some shysters.
