AFI Fest 2006--The Rush is On!
AFIFest 2006, the local stab at a real film festival, will open on November 1st, but film lovers can start buying tickets today for the regular screenings, but only by phone or on-line.
The hot tickets, like Pedro Almodovar’s Volver, with Penelope Cruz and David Lynch’s latest film, Inland Empire, will be sold via a rush line, in-person, on the day of the screening, on a first come, first serve, space available basis, cash only. Why make it easy? Then, everyone would want to come.
