Adweek’s Yeah, That’s Probably an Ad Podcast Wins Folio Award

The organization presented 19 awards for digital excellence

Adweek’s weekly podcast, Yeah, That’s Probably an Ad, took home the 2018 Folio: Digital Award for best podcast.

Adweek creative director Ron Goodman accepted the award at a luncheon Thursday at the Yale Club of New York City.

Folio presented 19 awards in categories including data visualization, digital momentum and digital excellence. Popular Science took home the Website Launch/Relaunch award. And Source Media won for New Digital Product.

Adweek’s podcast has been downloaded nearly 100,000 times in the past six months and has maintained a five-star rating on Apple Podcasts since it launched in August 2016.

“A podcast is the epitome of a group effort, and dozens of people across all of Adweek’s departments have been vital to the quality and success of ours,” said David Griner, Adweek’s editor of creativity and innovation and co-host of Yeah, That’s Probably an Ad. “I’m so thrilled to see our team’s work being honored by the Folio Awards, and I hope it helps some new listeners discover the show.”
