This historical mashup was published as a book back in 2010, and shortly afterwards word leaked that a movie based on the book was in the works. The movie was shot earlier this yeaar in 3D, and it is scheduled to be released on June 22, 2012.
As you can see, the trailer shows many of the tropes of horror action movies.
