ABC Promotes Sonya Crawford
ABC News has announced that Sonya Crawford, currently with the network’s Newsone affiliate news service, will be a new overnight and early morning anchor in Washington. She’ll contribute to ABC’s “World News Now” and “World News This Morning,” as well as “Good Morning America” and ABC News Now.
“Sonya’s experience covering Washington and her time reporting overseas make her a valuable addition to the overnight and early morning news broadcasts,” said Mr. Westin.
Crawford joined ABC News in November 2002 as a Washington-based correspondent for NewsOne.
