ABC News Reports Nearly 141K iPad App Downloads
ABC News reported that its iPad app, which debuted July 21, has been downloaded nearly 141,000 times thus far.
ABCNews.com has also been optimized with HTML5 so that the site is compatible with the Apple tablet with full functionality, including video.
As previously reported by WebNewser, the ABC News iPad app includes exclusive content not available on the site, including an “archives” function, which features photos, video, and text stories from “this day in history,” as well as pre-roll advertisements on every third video clip and text stories presented in e-reader format.
