ABC discovers that viewers will find Lost

In its efforts to keep both viewers and advertisers happy, ABC has been experimenting with various ways of providing its most coveted television content. Well, the numbers are in, and it would appear that it’s merely a matter of each individual’s tolerance for Cingular ads. Despite its availability for free, the number of users willing to pay for the latest exploits of Jack, Locke, and Sawyer, stayed level even as some 11 million users took advantage of the streaming route.

Frankly, the more avenues the better. If there’s anything Americans love, it’s the freedom to choose between 134 different kinds of cereal and toothpaste.
