ABC 7 Shits the Bed
Last night, ABC 7 WJLA’s Twitter feed had a MOST unfortunate typo while reporting on a shooting in Kensington, MD. Buzzfeed captured a screen grab of the mishap.
MOST shocking, however, is that WJLA didn’t immediately delete it. They just sent out a tweet moments later to correct their mistake. It remained up all of Tuesday night and well into Wednesday morning. Employers across all of D.C. spent the morning laughing their asses off until WJLA spoiled everyone’s good time and took it down.
WJLA GM Bill Lord remarked to FishbowlDC: “We found no humor in it at all.
