Snapchat is helping Lady Liberty ring in the Fourth of July with a new landmarker lens.
Snapchatters who visit Liberty Island can activate the lens either on approach or once they reach the Statue of Liberty.
Once the lens is activated, the Statue of Liberty is brought to life in color and movement, with patriotic fireworks in the background.
This is done by opening the rear-facing camera, tapping on the background to access lenses and swiping to the landmarker lens in the Lens Carousel.
