Canvas) in downtown Los Angeles looking to find great writers for our new lifestyle and art magazine about L.A. We are looking for a versatile group of writers ranging from fashion, art, food, tech, movies and more. Our magazine publishes every other month with our premier issue coming out in November. Since we publish bi-monthly, we are looking for freelance writers with possible room to grow and the possible option of joining our staff full time. We are a print magazine but all writers would be required to also contribute stories for our website We are looking for writers who are involved in the L.A. lifestyle scene, whether that is going out to the new club that just opened or to a small gallery exhibit of a new emerging artist of L.A. We want to see your style and your point on view on stories. You donâ€™t necessarily need to have had magazine writing experience before but if you love writing then please apply. We want people who are already in the scene they want to cover and just a casual observer Our demographic is around 20-35, young, trendsetters (without being pretentious) that want more than just going to bars and getting wasted... Our readers are people who are creative and are the heartbeat of this city.
