A Conde Nast Editor Tops Possible List For New Redbook EIC

Redbook editor in chief Stacy Morrison left the position earlier this month amidst widespread shuffling at Hearst, citing “family issues.” Now, sources close to the company say that Hearst president Cathie Black will be announcing Morrison’s replacement within a week.

According to
the Post‘s Keith Kelly, the top two contenders for the role are Condé Nast’s Jill Herzig (Glamour‘s executive editor) and Redbook‘s No. 2 editor under Morrison, Alison Brower.

And it seems that the scales are tipping in Herzig’s favor, especially given Rebook‘s drop in circulation under Morrison and Brower’s watch.
