944 Magazine Closes Up Shop
The regional “entertainment, lifestyle and fashion” magazine 944 has folded. This month’s June issue will be the mag’s last. 944 published in Orange County, San Francisco and San Diego as well as Phoenix, Las Vegas, Atlanta, Dallas and Detroit and had a combined circulation of 3.4 million. Desert Living got a hold of an internal memo from the executive editor to staff announcing the decision to shut down operations.
