Jamaican Bobsled Team

One of the most inspiring stories of the 1980s was that of the Jamaican national bobsled team, the underdogs who made their way to the Olympics in 1988 with almost no practice on a bobsled track. After crashing on one of their runs they continued on to compete, borrowing bobsleds from other teams. This story inspired the 1990s Disney movie Cool Runnings.
