5 Lessons Learned from Magazine Apps
At the MPA Digital: eReading conference today, a number of different magazine publishers shared app design tips. We’ve collected our favorite pieces of advice below.
1. Personalize your app for readers. Parenting magazine’s Ages and Stages app lets you customize your reading experience based on the age of their child–even uploading a photo so you can see your child every time you open the app.
2. Hire a movie director for your short app videos. Travel + Leisure hired director and actor Andrew McCarthy to create two-minute travel videos.
