31% of iPhone Owners in the UK Will Upgrade to the iPhone 5S

Thirty-one percent of existing iPhone users in the UK plan to upgrade to Apple’s new iPhone 5S, according to an online survey of 1,000 UK adults which was done right after Apple announced the new device on Tuesday. This is down from 44 percent of those UK iPhone owners surveyed last year when the iPhone 5 came out.

The Telegraph UK has the story:

Of all the smartphone users surveyed, (including those who do not currently have an iPhone), 11 per cent said they wanted to upgrade to the new iPhone 5S without needing any further information about the product.
