$25,000 Is Quite The Seed Fund

Council member Vincent Gray, who is running for council chairman, wants to give a $25,000 grant to Capitol City News to publish an East of the River Business directory. The $25,000 is coming from reserve funds out of last year’s budget as part of the June Reserve Fund and Fund Balance Allocation Act of 2006. This will be the seed money to develop the directory.
