23% of Mobile Users Remember Mobile Ads

Nearly one quarter (23%) of mobile users in the U.S. have received some form of mobile advertising in the past month, according to a Cellular-news report on the most recent Nielsen Mobile Advertising Report. The good news for advertisers? Some 51% of those who remember seeing a mobile ad said they responded to it.

Nielsen found that the number of respondents who remembered seeing mobile advertising grew by 28% from the second quarter of 2007 to the fourth quarter, or from 42 million to 58 million subscribers.
