$10,000 Twitter Giveaway For Teachers From Skype Santa

If you’re a teacher fond of using technology in the classroom – or if you know one – you’ll want to check out this give-away.

“Skype Santa” is giving away $10,000 in Microsoft products to the teacher who tweets the most creative contest entry!

Skype announced this holiday offer on its website as a way of showing its continued support to “further education experiences through our Skype in the classroom program.”

The contest is open to teachers and educators around the world and the winning entry will not only receive $10k in Microsoft products for his/her classroom, but a Skype call with Santa for the classroom as well! (So let’s hope someone who teaches little ones wins!)

To enter, tweet telling Skype how you would use use the technology in your classroom if you won. Important! Your tweet must include the “#SkypeSanta” hashtag to be entered to win. And there will be three winners.

Here’s an example they offered: I’d use Skype video calls so experts could speak to my classroom face-to-face! #SkypeSanta
The contest ends December 9th and winners will be contacted via direct message on Twitter – so if you enter, watch your DMs to see if you win! Good luck!
