At long last, the Slowskys have returned to the public eye, and are still denigrating the speed and efficiency of Comcast’s cable and Internet service. (See the new spots here, here, here and here.) Like the old campaign, these new ads, from Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, are still a charming (albeit somewhat forced) and bass-ackwards way to promote Comcast. But the Slowskys seem awfully cranky in this time around, which is at odds with the stereotypical patient, genial nature of tortoises.
