Have you ever wondered exactly why the Lions International Festival of Creativity takes place in Cannes, France? As a matter of fact, it wasn’t brought to France until the third year of the Festival, in 1956. Prior to that, in 1954 and 1955 respectively, it was held in Venice and Monte Carlo. After alternating between Cannes and Venice for a couple of decades, the Festival finally found its home in Cannes in 1984 where it continued to evolve into what we know it as today.
