The first time we saw Darth Vader unmasked, it was kind of upsetting. This morning on Today, it was more palatable—as the 6-year-old star of Volkwagen’s much-lauded “The Force” ad was introduced to the world. His name is Max Page. The Deutsch spot—probably the best commercial of the Super Bowl—was his first national ad. (He has done a lot of TV, though—he’s known to soap fans for his recurring role as Reed Hellstrom on CBS’s The Young and the Restless.)
