While more people are working remotely since the pandemic, the lines between our personal and professional lives are blurring—and it can often be more difficult to switch off from our jobs.

Recently, tourism body Visit Iceland conducted a global study that found 41% of people check their work emails between one and four times a day when on vacation, while 14% review them five to six times each day. What’s more, 59% of people now feel as if their boss, colleagues or clients expect them to reply when away—and only 44% of workers said they actually feel rested after a trip.
