A street artist named Plastic Jesus (picking an artsy pseudonym in 2013 is like picking an AOL screen name in 1997) stuck it to the man by leaving a fake product—complete with product tag—in five Best Buy stores around Los Angeles. The product is a useless plastic box, and is tagged as such. The product description includes gems like "will not work once you get it home," and "battery life too short to be of use."
