This spot for the upcoming Tribeca Film Festival is noteworthy, if a little presumptuous, for thanking attendees ahead of time. They also, judging by their packing decisions, assume other cities in the continental U.S. don't have fire hydrants or pigeons or living statues. How very New York of them. Regardless, the spot delivers, particularly De Niro's cameo. And it is nice to be thanked for something I had no intention of doing. But really, guys, don't bother with the pigeons.
