Nothing quite highlights the endearingly odd corners of the stock art world quite like a modern recreation, and now Shutterstock itself is getting in on the trend.
The popular stock service turns 15 this year, so to celebrate, employees were asked to submit their recreations of stock photos, videos and illustrations.
Submissions to the #RockThatStock challenge came in from employees across the U.S., U.K., Canada, Germany, Ireland and Singapore, and they truly covered the breadth of what you can find in the service’s catalog. Shutterstock describes the challenge as a tribute to its “network of more than 400,000 contributors and the content they create every day.”
Check out some of the employee recreations below:
“Disloyal man walking with his girlfriend and looking amazed at another seductive girl”
“Young Woman and Balloons” (one of the site’s first photos, uploaded by Shutterstock founder Jon Oringer.
