This Terrifying Animation is Running in the UK to Promote Mortgage Lender

With the aim of taking uncertainty out of interest-rate transactions, mortgage lender and home-buying company Habito has released a distinctive animated campaign that certainly isn’t for children.

The 30-second spot from Uncommon Creative Studio, is the seventh installment in its “Hell or Habito” campaign, and this one, dubbed “Don’t Get Stung,” is potentially the most nightmarish.

With the aim of promoting the brand’s new range of fixed-for-life mortgages, the creative features a homeowner peacefully gardening outside her cottage when she is suddenly attacked by monster wasps as the skies darken and her garden transforms into a hellscape.

The narrator warns viewers: “Don’t get stung by rising interest rates, with Habito One, your payments are fixed for the life of the mortgage.”
