This Musical Nectar Mattress Ad Offers a Fair Warning: It Could Be Lying

'Don't Trust Commercials' wants you to listen to people over promos

By now, we’ve all learned to take most braggadocious ad claims with a grain of salt. Not every pizza can be the best in town. You are most likely not driving the best car in the market, despite a slew of billboards claiming otherwise. And even though just about every blockbuster film claims to be “the No. 1 in the country” at some point, that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re any good. Simply put: commercials lie sometimes.

So if you’re currently in the market for a new mattress, direct-to-consumer brand Nectar is asking you not to base your choice on its latest commercial, no matter how catchy it may be.
