For all the anticipation surrounding Christmas, the holiday can also be bad for the planet. With sustainability top of mind for many people this year, Austrian financial services company Erste Groupe tackles climate change head on in its latest Christmas ad.

The animated film tells the story of how a father-to-be becomes motivated to act more sustainably during the holiday season. With his young daughter by his side, he feels compelled to make small changes such as turning the tap off while brushing his teeth, recycling, riding his bike instead of driving a car and foregoing plastic bags when Christmas shopping.
