Valentine’s Day is coming on Tuesday, which means marketers everywhere have been trying to come up with their own absurd, comic takes on love—whether it’s heart-shaped buckets of fried chicken or beautiful serenades from fluffy fabric-softener shills.
For Minnesota brewer Grain Belt, it meant inventing the Grain Belt Dual Pour Can Topper, a plastic cap that fits on top of your beer can and divides the brew into two glasses as you pour—clear evidence of undying love, or failing that, at least a willingness to share.
Ad agency Colle+McVoy came up with the accessory, which is 3-D printed in “pinkish red, richly colored nylon plastic with a smooth finish,” according to the item description.
