The American Cancer Society has estimated that in 2022 alone up to 151,030 Americans may be diagnosed with colorectal cancer, with 52,580 at risk to lose their life to the disease. Colonoscopies can help medical professionals detect the cancer in its early stages and save lives.

In partnership with creative agency Beautiful Beast, the Colon Cancer Coalition is urging people to schedule regular screenings with its “Mission to Uranus” campaign. Teaming up with spokesperson Dick Covey, a NASA space shuttle astronaut and Air Force fighter pilot, the platform is raising awareness in hopes of reducing the number of colon cancer related deaths.
