SCOTLAND Glasgow – The environmental summit COP26 is now underway in Scotland with world leaders, members of the British Royal Family, global conglomerate chiefs, sustainability organizations and protesters all gathering in a bid to agree on measures that will reverse the climate crisis.

American president Joe Biden, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Prince Charles and German chancellor Angela Merkle were among the many leaders who were present during the opening ceremony in Glasgow.

Before the speeches began, all present watched a film that highlighted the changing natural landscape that people all around the world are experiencing, from floods to fires.

“Earth to COP: Action This Day” is a four-minute film that features eyewitness footage of various disasters that have emerged from global warming accompanied by the Academy award-winning score from Alfonso Cuaron’s 2014 film “Gravity.”
