The advertising community’s creativity can be put to great use to solve real-world problems. Ogilvy Peru, for instance, is harnessing its creative energy to prevent the rapid deforestation of rainforests. The agency’s new “Vertical Bike” innovation, designed in partnership with automaker Honda, aims to stop the indiscriminate cutting down of palm trees to reach their fruit.

The bike is intended for use in the Peruvian Amazon to help reach the aguaje fruit that can grow on trees up to 115 feet high.
