Cristo Fernández rapidly rose to fame over the past year as Dani Rojas, a Mexican soccer phenom who moved to England to play for the struggling AFC Richmond Greyhounds in Ted Lasso.

Now the Guadalajara-born actor has returned to his home country to star in Xbox’s 3-minute, adrenaline-fueled celebration of Mexico, the setting for new racing game Forza Horizon 5.

Fernández plays both starring roles—as a dispirited ride-share driver and as his own velocity-addicted passenger—in the sprawling new spot from agency 215 McCann.

Shot on location in Mexico by Mexico City native Tania Verduzco of directing duo Los Pérez, the project prioritized Latin American talent in front of and behind the camera.
