A single drop of spilled Tetley awakens the brand’s long-slumbering “Tea Folk” in this nicely detailed U.K. spot by Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy that combines live action and animation. The animated characters—who are making their comeback after years off the air—resemble Keebler Elf rejects (cast out, perhaps, for having rounded ears), and they’re seen rising from the bowels of a typical English office building, which presumably all have dormant sprites in their sub-basements. They seem harmless enough.
