Don’t get me wrong, those phone calls from Dwight Schrute, Optimus Prime and the scary Ring girl are cute, but I’ve often wondered how much further viral stuff can go before we’re basically abusing the people we send it to. Some young Germans have found that line and stormed boldly across it with an e-mail version of today’s Spanish Fly, the “Axe effect.” You type in a friend’s e-mail address, he gets sent an Axe site, then he gets a digital spritz from a can of man spray.
