Soccer stars and their (nonexistent) Web sites

With the new soccer season under way in Europe, we had visions of doing a nice, breezy post about the official Web sites of the big soccer superstars. We would take the big three first: Ronaldo, Zinedine Zidane and David Beckham. But immediately we were stymied! Ronaldo’s site, called R9, was “under construction.” Zidane’s was available only in French and Spanish. And Beckham’s official site—well, there doesn’t even seem to be an official David Beckham site! (If there is, we couldn’t find it.)
