Well, this is utterly bleak—a four-minute don't-text-and-drive mini-film from the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority that's one long slog through a family's grief as they bury a loved one after an accident. Wonderful. In the press materials, the advertiser congratulates itself for not doing "a shocking 'Blood on the Asphalt' video reminiscent of Drivers Ed in the '80s." No, instead they've made a long, uncomfortable and depressing meditation on suffering. Because that's so much better, and will really change behavior.
