Queen Mary zombie ad haunting British kids

Our friends at England's Advertising Standards Authority have banned a digital poster in the London Underground for a new show called "Bloody Mary" at the London Dungeon, a tourist trap devoted to medieval torture. The poster, which showed Queen Mary I turning into a hideous zombie, scared enough kids to breach fear and distress guidelines, which the London Dungeon says wasn't its intention. Rather, it claims the posters were meant to "show the dark side of her personality." To be fair, Queen Mary casts a grisly figure over British monarchical history. But the London Dungeon needs to fess up—this was about cashing in on the tiresome zombie media obsession, nothing more. An accurate digital poster would have shown her burning heretics.
