Pinterest specializes in helping users find inspiration for anything from home decor to dinner ideas.

At this year’s Cannes International Festival of Creativity, Pinterest created an activation to bring that thrill of exploration into the real world. Filled with giant colorful wooden pins, the brand offered tons of experiences, from getting a tattoo to screen printing.

The emphasis was on Pinterest’s goal to inspire users to pursue happier, more fulfilling offline lives. Chief marketing officer Andréa Mallard spoke to Adweek about the intention behind the activation.
