When my first child was born, my wife and I agreed we would not share any photos of the kid online without the express written consent of the other parent.

I broke that agreement within the first 10 minutes of her birth.

She’s now 3 1/2 years old (and her baby brother is 5 months old), and my wife and I—ok, let’s be honest, more I than she—have pretty much ignored our mutual agreement by posting images of them on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

I cannot count the number of photos I’ve posted of them in their cuteness, and in some cases, their nakedness.
