This is no laughing matter

It’s not just indecency that’s indecent. Jokes about indecency are indecent, too—or at least they’re in bad, bad taste. That’s the message we’re getting from Anheuser-Busch’s decision not to give a Super Bowl slot to “Wardrobe Malfunction,” a Bud Light ad that jokingly reimagines last year’s halftime-show fiasco as the result of a stagehand’s using Janet Jackson bustier as a bottle opener. The ad is up on Budweiser’s Web site. But be sure to watch in the privacy of your own home, with only consenting adults around. And stifle that laughter! This isn’t funny! This is very, very indecent!
