Apparently, having thousands upon thousands of songs at one’s disposal to exercise with just isn’t enough for Nike. Pitchfork Media is reporting that the company commissioned James Murphy, who leads LCD Soundsystem, to write a workout-length song of slightly more than 45 minutes long—45:33, to be exact—as part of the athletic brand’s partnership with iTunes and the iPod. In case you’re running around (ha!) thinking this is just one long, boring vanity project, Murphy says he wrote the song “to reward and push at good intervals of a run.”
